About the Invisalign system
Invisalign treatment begins with an evaluation and consultation. Three-dimensional images of your teeth are used with Align Technology software to customize a step-by-step treatment plan. The software simulates tooth movements, allowing our dentist and orthodontist to optimize the plan before treatment begins.Once the treatment plan is finalized, a customized set of aligners is created. The aligner fits snugly over your teeth, and is removed for meals and oral hygiene. Within about two weeks, there will be slight tooth movement. After this time, you begin wearing the next one in the series. This comfortable and gentle process continues until, a little at a time, your teeth have moved to their optional position and alignment.
